Is this approved by South Carolina DOR?
CertReady's South Carolina Alcohol Server Training was submitted to SCDOR for approval under H.3430 in May 2026 and is currently pending review. The course is designed to meet every requirement for on-premises servers, bartenders, and managers across the state. We will update this page the moment the approval letter is received.
How long does it take?
About four hours, including the final exam. Most people split it across two sittings. Your progress saves automatically.
What's the exam like?
Proctored, multiple choice, with a 70% passing score. Take it right in your browser when you finish the modules. Your purchase includes up to 3 attempts; if you do not pass within those 3 attempts, additional retakes are available for $9.99 each.
How long is my certificate good for?
Three years from the date you pass.
Can my employer get reports for the team?
Yes. Employers on a CertReady team plan get a dashboard with everyone's certifications, expiration dates, and downloadable PDF reports for inspectors. Bulk pricing starts at $24.99 per person for teams of 3 or more.
Is it available in Spanish?
