How long does it take?
About two hours, including the open-book final. Most people knock it out in one sitting, but you can split it across days. Your progress saves automatically.
What's the exam like?
Open-book, multiple choice, with a 70% passing score. Take it right in your browser when you finish the modules. If you don't pass, you can retake at no extra charge.
Does the certificate expire?
No expiration on the certificate itself. Some employers ask you to refresh training every few years; if yours does, you can retake the course any time.
Is it available in Spanish?
Yes. Every module is available in English and Spanish. You can switch languages any time without losing progress.
Can my employer get reports for the team?

Is this a state-issued food handler card?
No. This is foundational food safety training aligned with the FDA Food Code. Many employers accept it as proof of training, but it isn't a state-issued card. If your state requires a specific accredited card, check with your employer or the state agency first.
